Lady Gaga recently opened up about her choice to remain silent regarding the early rumors that she was a man, OKMagazine.com is reporting. “Why the hell am I going to waste my time and give a press release about whether or not I have a penis? My fans don’t care and neither do I,” Gaga said.

Born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, Gaga began her career performing at open mic nights and later became a songwriter for Sony/ATV Music Publishing after signing with Interscope Records in 2007. Gaga achieved widespread fame with her debut album, “The Fame,” featuring hits like “Just Dance” and “Poker Face.” Gaga has earned numerous accolades, including 13 Grammy Awards.

Promoting her music
She recalled facing these questions during interviews while promoting her music and explained that she didn’t want to be seen as a victim of misinformation.
Answer the question
“The reason why I didn’t answer the question is because I didn’t feel like a victim with that lie and I thought: What about a kid who is being accused of that who would think that a public figure like me would feel shame?” Gaga said.
The best interesr
“I’ve been in situations where fixing a rumor was not in the best interest of the well being of other people. In that case, I tried to be thought provoking and disruptive in another way. I tried to use the misinformation to create another disruptive point,” she added.
The rumors
Gaga noted that she simply used the rumors to provoke thought rather than respond directly.
Lies being printed
“I’ve been used to lies being printed about me since I was 20 years old. I’m a performer. I think it’s kind of funny,” she said.
Upcoming album
Gaga is currently preparing for the release of “Joker: Folie à Deux” and an upcoming album.
